It began with a hobby.
Gracie Moo Candles began in 2018 as a hobby that I genuinely enjoyed. I loved learning the process, working with fragrance, and making something by hand that people could bring into their homes.
Over time, that interest turned into a real opportunity, one I chose to take seriously and build with care. In 2020, during the shutdown, I redesigned the brand with my daughter Grace, the artistic designer behind our labels and website. That period gave us the space to slow down, make thoughtful decisions, and shape Gracie Moo into something more focused and intentional.

This business has never been a solo effort. My son Gabriel helped in the early days, working long hours at late-night festivals. My daughter Michelle helps test new scents in her home and serves as our quality control.
When I first launched the website, my son Thomas helped introduce Gracie Moo to customers across the country. Behind the scenes, my husband Chris does the heavy lifting, hauling boxes, fixing shelves, setting up tents, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

One of the most meaningful parts of building Gracie Moo has been meeting customers in person at festivals and markets. Sharing the work face-to-face, hearing people connect with a scent, and seeing the brand so warmly received has been both grounding and motivating.
Those moments continue to shape how I approach the business.
